Service design
Design thinking for your services
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. How do you turn that one fleeting moment into an unforgettable experience? An experience that keeps your customers coming back for more? By applying our designer skills to your service. Through empathy and co-creation we identify the needs and wishes of your users, purchasers, installers, employees and other stakeholders. In concrete terms? We get cracking with personas, customer journey mapping, service blueprints and more. We research, prototype and test in small steps. Remember: we’re not aiming for a little skip but for a quantum leap that puts you lightyears ahead of the competition.
Design for public services
How can a government organise its services in an efficient and effective manner? Simple. By focusing on the needs of the ordinary man in the street. By focusing on demand instead of supply. And that is why we develop tools to make your organisation’s culture more customer-friendly. What is the objective here? Creating broader support, getting everyone on the same page or even revising the organisation chart.

Design for (public) spaces
Got a new architectural project in the pipeline? Start by thinking about your service and other processes. Look through the eyes of the user and adjust the new spatial concept accordingly. In other words: the architecture and layout are instrumental aspects of the service and customer experience. For many years now, this service has given us a seat at the design table of renowned architects.

Design for social impact
The future will be better than the present. That is what drives us. The starting point for any innovation process is this: what do people need to make their lives better? Social innovation takes things one step further. This is where we delve into how we can improve things for the most vulnerable in our society. The solutions that surface here are often the result of participatory processes with different stakeholders.

Customized serious games
Do you want to introduce change in your company, give your employees new insights? And do you want to do so in an innovative, creative and interactive way? Together with Leuven-based strategic consultancy agency shiftN we developed Serious games. No tomfoolery but a custom-tailored development path. From scratch, in order to reflect the culture, language and strategy of the customer as closely as possible.

Design for public libraries: the library of the future
From quiet place to experience centre. Pars Pro Toto researched the evolution of the library. After all, visitor needs have evolved significantly over the last few years. The visitor sets the bar and it’s up to us to raise it even further. So how does that play out in terms of service and infrastructure? We translated the results of this research into a practical script that applies to any library.
