Générale de Téléphone

Baby Seat en Studio ID

How to fit a baby into a passport photo? And how can a photo studio stand out in a public space? This is the question Générale de Téléphone, market leader in making and developing passport photos, wanted us to answer. Pars Pro Toto developed a clear and identifiable brand identity, from product development in the photo studio to branding.
Our mission
  • Product design & branding: Create a clear and identifiable identity for photo studios and related products.
  • Product engineering: Devise innovative solutions for a target group that is notoriously difficult to photograph.
The project

With over 180 shops in France, Générale de Téléphone is the market leader in making and developing passport photos. From a visual standpoint, however, this position was not visible in the points of sale. Pars Pro Toto gave them a strategic makeover.

Brand identity for photo booth in the shop

For professional photographers we developed a unit that combines all necessary elements in a single solution. A photo booth that is not only practical but also looks austere and professional. No more hassle with reflection screens, framing, light settings or cables that get in the way.
We developed a special baby chair for this setup as well. Passport photos of every baby, no matter how young and flailing, now stand the test. Additional advantage: a clear brand identity. The photo booth is really hard to miss at the shop.

Product design photo studio for babies

A robust chair that disappears in the picture! Générale de Téléphone asked us, we developed one. This chair lets you photograph both babies and small children.

The design of the chair keeps the child’s head in the ideal position for regulation passport photos. Thanks to the transparent plastic, the chair is no longer visible in the passport photo itself. A brilliant disappearing act.
